Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke operating in the North-Central zone have rescued three kidnapped victims in a daring operation according to the Defence Media Operation s(DMO).
A press release signed by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operation, MAJ GEN JOHN ENENCHE on Friday said troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE, in the early hours of 7th January 2021, successfully staged a daring rescue operation at Mararaba Udege general area in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, rescuing three kidnapped persons and neutralizing one armed bandit in an ensuing firefight.
The statement said the kidnapped victims were subsequently reunited with their respective families.
While commending the efforts of the troops, ENENCHE said the Armed Forces of Nigeria will not relent until all enemies of the Country are neutralised and normalcy is restored to all troubled zones.
