Passenger Operations begin on the Lagos Red Line Rail System today Tuesday, 15th October 2024 as the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu will flag off passenger operations of the first phase of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Red Line, second rail system to become operational in less than two years in Lagos. The Red Line’s first phase is a 27-kilometre railroad from Oyingbo in Lagos to Agbado in Ogun State with eight stations at Oyingbo, Yaba, Mushin, Oshodi, Ikeja, Agege, Iju and Agbado.
