The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja Council hails the appointment of its Chairman, Comrade, Emmanuel Ipole Ogbeche, as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to His Excellency, The Executive Governor, Sen. Prince, Bassey Edet Otu, of Cross River State.
The executive and members of NUJ FCT Council, are indeed elated by this appointment. We commend His Excellency, Sen. Prince, Bassey Edet Otu, for honouring the NUJ FCT Family with this, especially, being in his first appointment.
In a press statement released in Abuja Tuesday, jointly signed by the Comrade, Osaretin Osadebamwem and Ochiaka Ugwu, Vice Chairman and Secretary of Council respectively, We thank Gov. Otu for finding our Chairman worthy for this appointment.
As Council, we also assured the new CPS of Council’s support in projecting, promoting and advancing the policies and programs of Otu’s administration.
