….Bukola Olopade hails sports minister as the biggest marketer of sports in Nigeria

In line with its resolve to encourage public private partnership as a means of turning Sports into a viable business, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has entered an agreement with NILAYO SPORTS MANAGEMENT LIMITED for the official marketing rights of team Nigeria to Tokyo Olympics 2020.
In a brief speech during the event, the Minister of youths and sports development, HONOURABLE SUNDAY DARE said, “We gave them the marketing right having considered the profiles and track records of several other marketing companies.
We feel that Nilayo has what it takes to market team Nigeria going to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics” DARE said.
In his response, HON. BUKOLA OLOPADE the CEO of NILAYO SPORTS MANAGEMENT LIMITED who led the Company’s marketing team extolled the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development under the leadership of MR. SUNDAY DARE, saying that the arrival of MR DARE remains the best time for sports entrepreneurs.
He however promised that the target given to the Minister would be met and surpassed.
OLOPADE also applauded the Minister for his Adoption initiative which he said is gaining ground with each day, adding that he would work round the clock to ensure that enough funds are raised for Team Nigeria in line with the agreements reached.
Speaking to sports journalists on the sidelines of the presentation, BUKOLA OLOPADE hailed the Sports Minister, HONOURABLE SUNDAY DARE as the biggest marketer of sports in Nigeria.
In his words: “this is the best time for sports entrepreneurs in Nigeria because we have a property in the honourable minister we can market.
“Sports looks good in the eyes, it looks good in terms of implementation from the angle of leadership which is where the private sector tends to look at” OLOPADE said.
“At Nilayo sports we are grateful to the honourable minister for giving us the opportunity to market team Nigeria for Tokyo 2020.
“It promises to be a great experience for us because we have a leadership in the honourable minister of sports that would make it easy and seamless to market team Nigeria” OLOPADE concluded.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in a brief ceremony in the office of the Minister, MR. SUNDAY DARE, and had in attendance the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry MR. GABRIEL ADUDA, NILAYO SPORTS MANAGEMENT LIMITED marketing team and officials of the Ministry of Youths and Sports development.
