Why fix a wedding ceremony on a day every NFF board member is needed in Benin City? That was the million dollar question!
They all gathered in Kano. What a poor arrangement, national assignment should supersede any personal assignment if the word patriotism means anything to this guys.
It was obvious a divided NFF house affected Eagles performance in Benin. Little did we know that the Super Eagles vs Leone stars 4 – 4 draw did not have the NFF technical committee chairman Alhaji Yusuf Fresh in attendance, alongside NFF 1st Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwumi and the Chairman Marketing Committee who doubles as NFF 2nd Vice President, Mallam Shehu Dikko alongside a host of others.
This could be an indication something in the Glass House or do we call it Sunday Dankarawo House is not right? How can these important NFF personalities fail to honour such an important national assignment ?
These three members and other members of the NFF were in Kano and it was a celebration galore for them immediately after the embarrassing come back by the Leone Stars in Benin City.
Do these top officials really have Nigeria football at heart or they are just there for the money? Were they in Kano to plan and strategize for the 2022 NFF elections?
These are some of the questions thrown to the public domain, hopefully answers would come in the coming days.
