The current Junior INTERNATIONAL TENNIS FEDERATION (ITF) JUNIOR GRADE 4 Champion, OYINLOMO QUADRE has affirmed her readiness for Wednesday match against another Nigerian, PATIENCE ONEBAMHOIN in the main draw of 2019 ITF, LAGOS OPEN.
QUADRE who is ranked number 4 in Africa junior and 211 in ITF world said meeting ONEBAMHOIN again after beating her in a two straight set at the National Sports Festival in Abuja last year and meeting her again in Lagos Open would not be treated with a kids gloves.
QUADRE who based in CASABLANCA, MOROCCO and a student in the HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTRE in MOROCCO emphasized that nothing will shift her focus while playing her senior counterpart without limiting her ability.
“Although this is my third time playing in this tournament and my goal is to get to the quarter finals because I want to move up one step at a time and hopefully I do better than my goal.
“Against Onebamhoin, I can’t predict how the match is going to go but what I can say for sure is to fight and try to win the match”.
QUADRE who defeated MEHRA VIPASHA of India 6-2, 6-1 at the recently ITF Junior final in BENIN REPUBLIC hinted that if she win in Wednesday match against her Nigerian foe her potential opponent would be seed 5 in the tournament.
” I am good to go, I don’t want to put the cat before the horse, everything will be step by step and I will put everything I have into that game without any intimidation from any opponent” said QUADRE.
