Ahead of the rally, sensitization, inauguration, and medical outreach of RTIFN in Calabar the Cross River State Capital, the National and State Executives of RTIFN paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on June 5, 2026, to confer upon him the esteemed position of patron of the Support Group Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria, in recognition of his stellar performance over the past three years, with key achievements in road infrastructure, aviation, education, and other areas.
The Relax team consisted of key officers from the National, including Deputy National Coordinator Zack Orji, Ambassador Dr. Felix Arome, National Secretary Dr. Umma Adamu, National Women Leader, and other members of the National Exco, as well as the State Coordinator and host, Engr Anjor Obande, accompanied by her colleague, the Akwa-Ibom State Coordinator Chief Kingsley Oyong , and the CRS exco of RTIFN.
The Cross River State Coordinator, Engr Obande, succinctly stated in her address that the RTIFN, as a support group, has the duty to work towards a successful continuation of the Renewed Hope Mandate of Mr. President, H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the People’s First Mandate of Governor Bassey Edet Otu of CRS.
Ambassador Dr. Felix Arome the National Secretary, in his remarks, stated that the RTIFN has a core objective of not only supporting Mr. President’s return but also sensitizing the Nigerian public on the achievements of the current administration, which number over 300 in 3 years.
He urged Nigerian citizens not to be misled by false information, which spreads quickly, but to take advantage of what Mr. President is doing, such as NELFUND.
H.E. Senator Bassey Edet Otu, in his response, recognized the significant progress made by H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in areas such as economic and fiscal reforms, social welfare and education, infrastructure, and energy, among others.
His Excellency further emphasized that the work being done by Mr. President will yield long-term benefits for the people, and he urged citizens to understand and appreciate these efforts and their projected outcomes.
Gov. Otu expressed his support and commitment to the work of RTIFN at all levels and wished the team a successful event on June 6, 2026.
