The Permanent Secretary,Federal Capital Territory Authority,FCTA, Olusade Adesola has assured FCT athletes of good times ahead.
Olusade, while fielding questions from Sports journalists in Abuja during the cash awards presentations to Athletes who represented the Federal Capital Territory at the last National Sports Festival in Benin-City, Edo State said “this is just the beginning of good things to come for our athletes in FCT”
Speaking further, Olusade said “if you know me then you know that I always like to start small then grow big and when next we are hosting the next award then you can be sure that the prize will be bigger”.
Olusade who was a former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Of youth And Sports Development however encouraged the Athletes not to be discouraged with their current challenges stating that “tough times don’t last only tough people do but I can assure them that FCT will always try to provide the enabling environment for them to thrive in their various sports but they must not forget that their career is very important no matter the challenges.
