The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ round of 16 was concluded on Monday as five time champions Real Madrid pip Juventus 1-0 in an explosive game at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Florida.
The first half of the game ended goaless. The second half saw Los Blancos asking all the questions with chances from the likes of Vicinius Junior and Federal Valverde saved. The break eventually came in the 54th minute of the second half when Gonzalo Garcia header met a square play from Trent Alexander -Arnold that beat the Juventus defense and keeper to register the only of the game and taking Real Madrid to the quarter final where they will meet Borussia Dortmund in a repeat of the 2024 Champions League final.
Other in the quarter final s of the tournament are ; Al Hilal, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea FC, FC Bayern München, Fluminense FC, Palmeiras, Paris Saint-Germain .
