…Distributes 2000 free JAMB Forms to eligible undergraduates in Ekiti.

The Ekiti State Government has distributed no fewer than 2,000 free Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to vulnerable but qualified students and out of school youths across the 16 Local Government areas of the state.
The First Lady of Ekiti State, ERELU BISI FAYEMI, while flagging-off the distribution of the forms to the beneficiaries in ADO-EKITI, said that government would be relentless at ensuring that vulnerable students are encouraged in the state.
ERELU FAYEMI, in her remarks at the distribution venue, said that the present administration would continue to prioritise the education of Ekiti youths for National Development.
“The beneficiaries were chosen, having obtained a minimum of six credit passes in either West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council of Nigeria (NECO) at one sitting”, she said.
She assured that the FAYEMI administration would leave no stone unturned in preparing the future leaders of Ekiti with requisite qualification to enable them improve on the solid foundation being laid by the present government.
“N14 million had been committed to purchase the 2020 JAMB Pins as well as creation of profile, provision of E-Training, JAMB online registration and thumb printing exercise at no cost to the candidates.
“I urge you beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to your studies and make sure you pass your JAMB examination. You should also desist from any act capable of truncating your future,” she advised.
In his remarks, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, MR. FOLUSO DARAMOLA, said the distribution of the free JAMB forms to qualified youths was a demonstration of the importance the FAYEMI-led government attached to education and youths development in the state.
