….Femi Adesina Decorated Ambassador Of Anti-Rape, anti-Sex Abuse Campaign, Receives West Africa Media Personality Award

The Federation of West Africa Freelance Journalist Association-FWAFJA has honoured MR. FEMI ADESINA, the special adviser on Media and Publicity to PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI as an Ambassador of the Anti-Rape Campaign.
In a short ceremony at the presidential villa in ASO ROCK which witnessed the appointment, induction and inauguration, ADESINA was also presented with the Award of WEST AFRICA MEDIA PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD by the Federation of West Africa Freelance Journalist Association-FWAFJA.
According to ABAYOMI RUNSEWE, the Founder/Initiator, Anti-Rape Initiative Nigeria and Worldwide and President of FWAFJA, while congratulating ADESINA, said the honour and ambassadorial appointment bestowed on the veteran journalist for his campaign against rape and sexual abuse in Africa is well deserved.
In his words: “In view of the recent campaign against the challenges surrounding rape and how it affects young Nigerian girls, their future and the entire socio-economic development of Nigeria, our Anti-Rape Campaign initiative tagged Campaign Against Rape and Sexual Abuse, has decorated Mr. Femi Adesina, the Media and Publicity Aide to President Muhammadu Buhari as an Ambassador of the Anti-Rape Campaign.
He however promised that the body will continue to champion projects, initiatives, policy formulation, constitutional adjustments to promote the fight against rape and sexual abuse in Africa.
“With the endorsement and appointment of Femi Adesina the campaign in Nigeria will take a new direction towards progressive developments” RUNSEWE said.
In his response ADESINA thanked the organizers of the anti-rape campaign and the members of the West Africa Freelance Journalist Association-FWAFJA for the appointment, honour and recognition while asking everyone to support PRESIDENT MUHAMADU BUHARI next level agenda.
ADESINA promised to always support the anti-rape and anti-sexual abuse campaign and cause.
The event was organized by Federation of West African Freelance Journalist Association.
