Field reports from 100% of all electoral wards in Imo North Senatorial APC primaries election after the final collation by the Imo North Senatorial District Returning officer Rt Hon Amaechi Nwoha confirm distinguished Senator Patrick Chinwuba Ndubueze has finally emerged victorious with a wide margin of 108,862 against 79 votes scored by former Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.
This development is on the heels of last night’s high profile voluntary withdrawal from the race by major aspirants ,Chief Longers Anyanwu, Dr(Mrs)Gloria Akobundu and Chief Ike Odoeme, brokered by the state party hierarchy and anchored by it’s Chairman Hon Austin Onyedebulu at the party’s state office,in support of the candidature of the incumbent Senator, Engineer Patrick Ndubueze,which was quickly followed up by a constructive parley by the state governor His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodinma earlier on the 18th of May 2027,with another aspirant ex-Senator Ifeanyi Ararume at the Imo state Government House,which collectively paved way for the electoral landslide.
The final declaration was announced by the Chairman of the APC National Assembly Panel; Rear Admiral Williams Kayode at the Okigwe LGA headquarters in Imo State.
