Nigeria’s Kelechi heanacho secured a deadline day loan move from Sevilla to Championship side Middlesbrough on Monday.
With the transfer window closing on Monday, the English Championship club finalized the deal before the deadline after signing Samuel Illing-Junior, according to the BBC.
The former Manchester City and Leicester City striker Iheanacho, 28, has struggled to settle in Spain after failing to fit into Sevilla’s starting lineup.
With his level of experience in English football and his goal scoring ability the Nigerian forward is eager to add to his 85 career goals from his time at Leicester.
He has scored just three times in 11 appearances this season for Sevilla all of them in the Copa Del Rey – and has made only five league starts.
