World number 14, Madison keys has won the 2025 Australian Open Women’s final.
In a battle of heavy hitters, Madison Keys held her nerve to overcome defending champion Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 for her first Grand Slam, and Australian Open title.
The American played with grit and determination against the world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the well contested 3 sets to win her first Grand slam.
A focused Keys, was so determined to make something out of her second time in a grand slam final and she didn’t disappoint her fans.
The victory will see the 7th ranked and 2017 US Open finalist move up the WTA rankings in the following days.
The Men’s final on Sunday will be in between World number one Jannik Sinner and German Alexander Zverev.
