Asikuma Kings produced a brilliant performance against Anum Super Sixera, with a 3 runs viciory on Saturday, May 28, in the ongoing Asuogyaman Boys U-19 T20 Community Cricket League al the Asikurna Presby Park.
The week 2 of the Zone 2 league saw Asikuma scoring 19 runs. all out in 7.4 overs after Anurn Super Sixers won toss and chose to field first. It was a nerve creaking, as the brilliant bawling and fielding skills from the Super Sixers quickly dismissed the batten of Asikuma Kings, whose coaches had no antidote but to just watch on till the innings break.
Super Sixers’ Philip Odel had to retool his team, taking 4 wickets in an over, while the Kings stood at 15 runs. His counterparts, Sampson Obiri and Samuel Agbeve took 2 wickets each, gave away 6 runs apiece in 1.4 and 2 overs respectively in the innings that lasted for 43 minutes.
It was almost certain, that the Super Sixers, having lost their first game to Frankadua in week 1 will grab their first victory, with 20 runs from 120 balls and 10 wickets lo protect but Coach Leonard Arks and his Kings turned things around.
Gcdsway Rave and Richmond Olei took turns and just before they could wrap up their 4 avers each, Super Sixers were all out for 16 runs in 7.1 avers, with the Kings winning by 3 runs.
