A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Asiwaju Rotimi Ajanaku has announced the death of his mother.
In a short statement issued by Ajanaku, he said his mother, Mrs. Victoria Olakitan Ajanaku died on Saturday in Ibadan at the age 74 years and survived by husband, children and grandchildren.
According to Ajanaku, details about the death and burial of mama will be announced very soon.
A condolence message jointly signed by Comrade Ademola Babaloja, Chairman and Olusola Oladapo, Secretary on behalf of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), said, “we’re shocked to receive the news of mama’s death, that this happened few days after we celebrated your birthday, it’s painful, we deeply sympathize with you. We understand the grief in your heart, that is why we join others to pay this tribute. We pray God to grant you and other members of the family left behind by mama fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and bestow mama eternal rest.
