President of the Football Coaches Association of African Nations (FCAAN), Dr Terry Babatunde Eguaoje has offered reasons why the body opted to recruit Mr Chinedu Wokocha as its first Chief Marketing/Financial Officer in Nigeria.
“FCAAN is expanding daily, not just in Nigeria but globally. We need someone of Mr Wokocha’s profile, training, experience and worldview to upscale in the marketing and financial management areas. He has the ability and the competence to contribute meaningfully to what we are doing.
“FCAAN is now a global brand and we have to seek to continue to improve and deepen the services that we offer. Mr Wokocha has extensive experience in sales and banking, and has a degree in public administration. He is well-suited for this new position that we have created and we are happy to have him on board.”
FCAAN’s Director of Coaching Education, Henry Abiodun added that the body is in need of highly skilled and diligent professionals to help manage the organization and steer it to the next level, and someone like Wokocha is a quality addition to the entire vision of the organization.
“I have been around FCAAN for over a decade now. I am glad to officially join the team and thanks to Dr Terry Eguaoje for giving me the opportunity to serve coaches in Nigeria,” Wokocha said.
Dr Terry Babatunde Eguaoje is the Consultant on Coaching and Development to the Nigeria Football Federation.
