PLATEAU UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB of JOS preparations for the 2019/2020 SEASON got a big boost following the arrival of the team new kits from TURKEY.
The first batch of the consignment which comprises mainly jerseys for players, travelling wears, training bibs, balls, tracksuits and other equipment arrived JOS last Wednesday.
Speaking shortly after receiving the consignment, General Manager of the club, PIUS HENWAN expressed delight stressing that it will boost the confidence of players and coaches ahead of the new season.
HENWAN explained that the consignment which got to Nigeria over the weekend will give the team a unique appearance in the NPFL as one of the few clubs being kitted by a foreign manufacturing company.
The General Manager who disclosed that the second which comprises of replica jerseys and club regalia will arrive before the league kick off.
He stated that once the other consignment arrives, governor SIMON LALONG will unveil the new kits at an elaborate ceremony which will also be used to unveil the team newly recruited players.
It will be recalled that PLATEAU UNITED entered into an agreement with a Turkish manufacturing company to supply kits to the club for the next two years.
