The Ikorodu city FC (Oga boys) emerged the biggest winners of the NPFL match day 28 after a dramatic 0-1 win against a relegation threatened Lobi Star FC of Markurdi.
The hard won victory away from home made it the second time Coach Nurudeen Aweroro tutored boys will be claiming the maximum three points away from home this season.
This lone goal came in an 81st minute strike by attacker Shola Adelani.
The victory takes Ikorodu City FC climbed to third position on the NPFL table usurping Shooting stars FC of Ibadan who has a game in hand.
After a poor run of form earlier bin the season, Ikorodu city FC has enjoyed some level of stability in their debut season in the Nigeria top domestic league.
With 10 more matches to play this season the Oga Boys fancy their chances for an unprecedented continental ticket.
