Super Eagles striker and CHAN 2018 hero Gabriel Okechukwu has signed a four year contract with Japanese club side Consadole Sapporo Fc according to information from his management team.
The deal according to his managers is worth 2million dollars(Two-million dollars).
The Water FC of Abuja academy graduate said he is happy to sign for Consadole Sapporo Fc and looking forward to the new challenge.
Okechukwu who played for Wydad Casablanca Fc of Morocco prior to the latest move was the standout player for Nigeria at the 2018 Total CHAN championships in Morocco where he scored the winner against Angola in the quarter-finals and Sudan in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The ganging striker also played for Akwa United Fc of Uyo.
