The Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs Press Corps has congratulated the newly redeployed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, OLUSHADE ADESOLA on his redeployment saying it is a round peg in round hole.
The Chairperson of the association LULU BANKONG said the wealth of experience he is bringing to the Ministry will be invaluable having worked in the Ministry of Youth and Sports development.
LULU went further saying “he is the best thing to happen to the Ministry of Niger Delta because his statement on assumption of office shows signs of intent and readiness to work with everybody in achieving the objectives of creating the Ministry.
She however urged him to avoid the pitfalls of the past permanent secretaries so that posterity can judge him well.
Recall that ADESOLA on assumption of office immediately insisted that the bidding process for contract must be transparent while instructing the director of procurement to put all information on the website.
He also went further to charge the head of human resources to make room for regular meetings among the management staff a norm in order to know the challenges faced by each department.
LULU stated that the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs press corps is looking forward to a fruitful relationship with the Ministry and other agencies under the Ministry.
