The identities of all four Semi-Finalists of the 2022 Mark D Ball Women’s Basketball Championships were revealed on MatchDay 5 of the ongoung Mark D Ball Basketball Women’s Championship.
The semi-final pairing will see First Bank of Lagos take on Kada Queens of Kaduna while Sunshine Angels of Akure and Nigeria Customs will lock horns for a spot in the final.
Meanwhile in the Quarterfinal matches decided yesterday, the duo of Vivian Odjvavin and Remilekun Busayo were top scorers for Sunshine Angels of Akure as they defeated Plateau Rocks 74-37.
In another quarter final encounter, 14 points from Mofeoluwa Akinrami and 12 from Ojoma Ewaoghe saw Kada Angels of Kaduna recover from a 27-33 halftime deficit to edge out Air Warriors of Abuja.
In an earlier game Quarterfinal IGP Queens lost by 50-77 points of First Bank of Lagos with Ifunanya Okoro dunking 19 points for the Lagosians.
The Nigeria Customs also defeated MFM of Lagos by 55-46 in the last quarter final match of day 5 of the tournament.
The tournament continues on Thursday with classification matches for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th teams,
