Kaduna Socialite and popular Educator, YETUNDE GEORGE-SOREMEKUN popularly known as “Yetty Gold” last Sunday marked her 40th birthday with friends, family members and colleagues in a glamorous ceremony held at her Apartment in the Barnawa Area of Kaduna city.
The event themed “Fabulously 40fied” attracted the presence of distinguished personalities and Society big ladies who were present to celebrate their friend and sister as she turned 40.
The low key reception organised in accordance with COVID -19 guidelines recorded lots of fun activities, cutting across felicitation messages, and presentation of gifts, dancing, photo shoots and lots of appetising meals.
The elated Celebrant expressed appreciation to God almighty for the grace of a new age and also thanked everyone who made out time to mark the significant day in her life.
An Educator par excellence, the celebrant promised to continue to impact lives and support the less privileged children in the society.
In her words: “I am most grateful to God Almighty for the privilege to celebrate at 40, I want to rededicate my life to the service of God and humanity.
“I want to thank my family, few friends present and well-wishers who have come to celebrate with me from far and wide. Thank you and God bless you”, a teary YETUNDE said.
Accolades and encomiums poured in from friends, colleagues and well-wishers of how much YETUNDE had impacted them one way or the other.
The event was rounded off with a visit to the Orphanage home where the celebrant donated gifts, money and food items to the Children.
YETUNDE SOREMEKUN was born in the city of Kaduna Forty years ago to a Business man father and an Educationist mother; she schooled in Kaduna, Bauchi, Anambra and graduated from the University with a degree in Business Administration. She is a business woman and a School Administrator. An advocate of Education for Children, she sits on the Board of several NGOs and organisations that promotes Child Education.
