As reactions and messages of condolences continue to pour in to the people and government of Borno State over the recent wave of flooding.
First Lady of Yobe State, Hajia Hafsa Kollere Buni has joined the long list of mourners and well-wisher with a message of condolences to the first lady of Borno state, Hajia Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum, the people and government of Borno State.
A statement contained in a press release signed by Hajia Buni read: ‘’My heart goes out to my dear sister, the First Lady of Borno Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum, and the resilient people of Borno State during this challenging and trying time following the recent devastating floods.
The statement further said ’’The loss and devastation are deeply saddening, and horrendous. As a sister state I stand with you all in condolence solidarity and prayer. May strength, hope and unity guide the recovery efforts as we rebuild homes and lives. Together, we will rise above this tragedy. My thoughts and unwavering support are with every persons affected. Stay strong, Borno. We are in this together’’. The statement said.
