2027 Election Already Settled, North Will Deliver 95% Votes for Tinubu – Uba Sani

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has declared that President Bola Tinubu is assured of overwhelming support from Northern Nigeria in the 2027 presidential election, saying the region would deliver at least 95 per cent of its votes to the President.

The governor made the declaration on Tuesday during the flag-off of the 122-kilometre Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road project, where he attributed the confidence to what he described as Tinubu’s unprecedented commitment to infrastructure development in the North.

According to Sani, the ongoing projects being executed by the Federal Government in Kaduna and across Northern Nigeria have earned the President widespread support among the people.

“We will continue to support the President. I have no doubt in my mind that the 2027 election has been concluded, and we are giving President Tinubu at least 95 per cent of the total votes. There is no doubt about that and I stand to be challenged,” the governor said.

He described Kaduna as the capital and economic heartbeat of Northern Nigeria, stressing that every development project executed in the state benefits the entire region.

“We have to be happy with what he has done for us and whether we like it or not, Kaduna is the capital of Northern Nigeria. Everyone is proud of Kaduna.

Kaduna’s development is a development for all the states of Northern Nigeria, so we are happy and grateful to the President for recognising that Kaduna is the heart of Northern Nigeria,” he stated.

The governor highlighted several ongoing Federal Government projects in the state, including the Western Bypass and the planned resumption of work on the Eastern Bypass, which he described as critical to easing transportation and boosting economic activities.

“The Western Bypass is ongoing from the Abuja Junction to the Kawo Motor Park, and that is also a construction undertaken by the Federal Ministry of Works under the able leadership of Tinubu.

We are resuming the construction of the Eastern Bypass, which is extremely critical for our people. It will resume in the next two weeks, according to my discussion with the Minister,” he added.

Sani maintained that President Tinubu had done more for Northern Nigeria than any previous Nigerian leader, challenging anyone with contrary evidence to present it.

“About two weeks ago, I came out boldly and said no President in the history of Nigeria has done what Tinubu did for us here in Northern Nigeria, and I challenge anyone to come up with anything contrary to what I have said,” he said.

The governor noted that several infrastructure projects currently underway across the North demonstrate the President’s commitment to the region, questioning why previous administrations failed to undertake similar interventions.

“Why was it that other leaders were not doing what Tinubu is doing today for Northern Nigeria? Was it that Northern Nigeria was not a priority or that was not their concern? We thank Tinubu for the love for the North and humanity,” Sani said.

He reaffirmed the Kaduna State Government’s support for the Tinubu administration, expressing confidence that ongoing infrastructure investments would further strengthen public support for the President ahead of the 2027 general election.
