Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Ubah, is dead. The Senator representing Anambra South reportedly died Saturday morning in a London hospital according to reports.
The lawmaker was said to have been ill for about three weeks. He travelled to London for treatment in the first week of July according to a source in the National Assembly .
At press time, no information has been confirmed from the Senate or from Anambra State Government.
The cause of death is not clear as at Saturday morning.
A business mogul, Ubah was the Chairman of Capital Oil, a leading downstream oil company he founded in 2001.
He also runs the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation which engages in charitable activities.
He was married to Uchenna Ubah, with whom he had 5 children.
