…President to speak 6 pm New York time, 11 pm Nigeria time
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to deliver a speech at the 2023 united Nations General Assembly UNGA on Tuesday 19th September 2023.
According to Presidential sources the president H is to speak on the theme of the General Assembly: “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity. Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its sustainable development goals towards peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability for all”.
Also, President Bola Tinubu at the sidelines of the UNGA will meet executives of Microsoft, Meta, and Exxon Mobil while he is in New York next week for the United Nations General Assembly.
He will discuss with Microsoft President Brad Smith how the country’s small businesses can have access to the Internet to carry out transactions quickly.
Tinubu is set will meet Nick Clegg, president of Global Affairs for Meta technologies, and the global CEOs of General Electric and Exxon Mobil.
He also plans to meet leaders from the United States, Brazil, Algeria, Comoros, South Africa, and the European Union. He will also meet the prime ministers of the Netherlands and Spain and the King of Jordan.
