….We cannot continue with old style

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, 2020 Annual Sunday School and House fellowship Leaders’ Conference tagged ‘Managers of Eternal Gifts’ took place in different Province/ Region centers of the country including West Africa region of the RCCG.
Region 20 Apapa family held her Sunday school and House Fellowship Conference at it Region headquarter, City Of David at Dideolu Estate , Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Regional Coordinator of Region 20 House Fellowship, PASTOR EMMANUEL IJEOMA said the house fellowship and Sundays teachers are forging ahead to make both Sunday School and House Fellowship more aggressive in terms of winning souls for Christ which is their focus for this year adding that the at the end of this conference the teachers would be more equipped to win souls.
According to PASTOR IJEOMA, House Fellowship is the pacesetter for the RCCG but what they are planning to do is to plan innovative ways to win souls adding that they cannot keep doing things in the old ways, stating that new men and women are to be involved, tapping brains from teachers of the word of God from other countries, do it the way they bring souls unto the Lord.
PASTOR IJEOMA an engineer by profession hinted that God has given gifts to everybody in various measures, Managers of Eternal Gifts are those who know their gift and their calling and able to prove it with the aid of the holy spirit pointing out that they are teaching the teachers to depend on holy spirit and once they identified the gift in them, they can now make use of it better.
“A lot of us catching up on how we can make our house fellowship and Sunday school more aggressive in terms of soul winning which is our focus this year and I am believing God that at the end of this Conference, the people will be more equipped to go out there to win souls
“Half bakes is a very strong word, the truth of the matter is that everyone of us, like Jesus said in Philippians 1vs 6 that He who began with a good works will surely see it to completion, the half bake teachers by experience, doing this work over and over continuously are getting better by the day, there is a chance for growth, people will grow but what we are looking at is ability to leader and grow with the people that they are leading.
“House Fellowship as always been the Redeemed pacesetter , what we are planning to do right now, is to do new and more innovative way in winning souls, that is our move now, we cannot keep doing things in old way and it is time for a change and time to move forward. We have to prepare the people for revolution into new men and women , new leaders and new teachers, tapping brains to know what other people are doing in other countries, we still see ourselves as pacesetters, a cutting edge church, especially Region 20, the thing for us is to move-on and become better.
“God as given to each and everyone of us bible says ; various gifts in various measure, managers of eternal gifts are those who know their gift and their calling and able to prove it with help of the holy spirit. We are now teaching our people to depend more on the holy spirit” said PASTOR IJEOMA.
Meanwhile the church growth officer of Apapa family Lagos Province 4, PASTOR KOLA ODESANMI, described Sunday School and House Fellowship as the same department which teach the word and train the students how to go about it adding that Sunday School is a fundamental part of the church which simply means in some churches they say if you miss Sunday School is like throwing a pier in the ocean because this is an opportunity for someone to learn and to ask questions because there is no opportunity for one to ask question when the pastor is preaching but you can interject during the Sunday school.
PASTOR ODESANMI who shed more light on teaching Directorate said House Fellowship is a key to church growth because its a continuation of growing in the spirit pointing out that, is a way of winning them all, either they are Christian or not, because house fellowship go beyond denomination, religious believe, and so on, it is gathering of like minds in an environment in other to bring people unto to Christ.
ODESANMI put it straight that a Christian that does know the word of God is miserable because Satan knows the word that is why in Mathew 4, after Jesus has fasted for forty days and forty night, the next thing was for Satan to quote the word of God which could not interpret but Jesus counter it by the right word. For a teacher to be able to deliver what he has been given by God effectively, the word of God must not be missed out .
According to ODESANMI, soul is an eternal gift, and there is a different between reward and award, when one is given an award, is an earthly thing that can perish but when you get reward it is eternal, training people to populate the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of hell is compulsory.
“The synergy between the Sunday school and House fellowship is that they both train and teach, Sunday School is major part of the church, there is always an opportunity to learn and to ask questions while House fellowship is a bid to church growth because is a progression of growing in the spirit, it is a way of winning them all either you are Christian or not, because House fellowship go beyond denomination, religious believes, it is a gathering of a like minds in an environment in other to bring people unto Christ.
“One thing is this, if you are a Christian and you don’t know the word of God, you are in trouble because Satan knows this word, that is why he used the word for Jesus in Matthew chapter 4 after Jesus has fasted for 40 days and forty night, the devil came and quote the word of God to tempt Jesus Christ but Christ used the world to counter it by the right word, that simply means a teacher of the word to be able to deliver effectively the God gift in him, the word of God must not be find wanting.
“Manager of Eternal Gift; soul is an eternal gift, when I was giving my speech on training,’ teaching for spiritual transformation’ I said there is different between Reward and Award, when you are given an award, it is an earthly thing that vanish or perish but when you get reward that is Eternal, so therefore, Eternal means something that is beyond this earth training people that populate the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of hell”, according to the National Growth Officer of Lagos province 4.
The 2021 House fellowship and Sunday School Conference will take place February next year.
