A strong member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, SENATOR TESLIM FOLARIN was among dignitaries who called to sympathise and pray for ENGINEER SEYI MAKINDE’S quick recovery.
SENATOR TESLIM’S message came in shortly after it was reported by the sunrisetimes.com.ng that GOVERNOR MAKINDE has been tested positive to Covid-19 virus on Monday based on the post on the Governor’s twitter handle.
“I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is positive. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.
“I have designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, as the Head of COVID-19 Task Force while I recover fully. Please continue to comply with all the directives from the COVID-19 Task Force. Stay home, stay safe,” MAKINDE Tweeted
“I just received news that Gov Seyi Makinde has tested positive for Covid-19. Our prayers to Allah is to grant him speedy recovery and protect his family in these trying times,” FOLARIN, tweeted.
SENATOR FOLARIN represents Oyo Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the national assembly. He was formerly in the same political party with ENGINEER OLUSEYI MAKINDE, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) till 2015 when he lost his seat as Senator at the national assembly.
